Our aim is to create new opportunities for the wider and more sustainable use of thermally modified wood, including in buildings with a higher fire resistance class, to promote environmentally sustainable and resource-efficient management, and to contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions.
To achieve this goal, we have created a subsidiary BestNoFire and started cooperation with Danish company BURNBLOCK®.
We have invested in purpose-built vacuum pressure equipment, which allows us to impregnate products of different wood species and processing levels. The central idea of the treatment is to use vacuum pressure to absorb a certain amount (kg/m3) of fire retardant into the wood. The whole process is computer controlled and all operations are recorded.
Long-lasting thermally modified wood products with BURNBLOCK® fire retardant impregnation create many new possibilities for modern wooden buildings, e.g., in public buildings such as schools, kindergartens, nursing homes, etc.
